Starting Date of Online Application: 10/07/2015
Last Date of Online Application: 20/07/2015
Exam to be held on: 23/08/2015
TET – 2 :
Exam to be held on: 26/07/2015
Gujarat TET 1 Eligibility Criteria :

Education Qualification: Candidates should possess H.Sc with PTC (D.El.Ed) or 2 years in Diploma in Education (Special Education) or 4 years of diploma B.El.Ed from any recgnosed university.
TET2 Eligibility Criteria :

The candidate must have passed Degree in respective discipline from a recognized university.
In addition the candidate must be satisfying the eligibility criteria defined by Gujarat State Examination Board as Resolution No.PRI 1110-223-K Dated 27.04.2011, Resolution No.PRI 1110-223-K Dated 14.07.2011 and 13.07.2012

Process of Selection :
The candidates will be selected through Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test II (Gujarat TET 2) 2015 to be conducted on 19th July 2015.

Total number of question: 150
Gujarat TET Exam Pattern 2015 :
All questions in Gujarat TET Exam will be in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying 01 mark, with 04 alternatives out of which 01 answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. Question papers will be -

  • There will be two papers of Gujarat TET.
  • Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
  • A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Gujarat TET 2015 Paper I (for classes I to V) : 
Duration of examination is 90 minutes.

Educational qualification :

1. For Primary Teacher :
  • Your minimum educational qualification should be Inter passed out from recognized university/board.
  • You should have a Diploma degree in Elementary Education from recognized university and should be approved from the NCTE.
  • Your minimum marks in Inter should be 50%.
  • Your minimum marks in Diploma should be 45%.
2. For Elementary Teacher :
  • Your minimum educational qualification should be Graduation passed out from recognized university.
  • You should have a B.Ed degree from recognized university and should be approved from the NCTE.
  • Your minimum marks in Graduation should be 55%.
  • Your minimum marks in B.Ed should be 50%.
NOTE :
  • To appear in this exam,there is No age Limit.
  • SC/ST candidates will get 5% of Marks Relaxations.
